## 1. The idea
What do I want to make?

[Write one plain sentence.]

## 2. The person
Who is this for, and what are they trying to do?

[Be specific about the situation.]

## 3. The problem
What would this make easier, clearer or more enjoyable?

[Describe the problem in their words if you can.]

## 4. The first useful version
What is the smallest thing someone could actually try?

[One page, sample, demo or clear result.]

What can wait?
- [Extra feature or task]
- [Extra feature or task]
- [Extra feature or task]

## 5. My next 30 minutes
What can I finish or show before another half hour disappears?

[Choose an observable action. If it needs longer, write down its first part.]

## 6. The feedback
Who is willing to try it? What will I ask them to do or explain?

[Ask about use, confusion and obstacles—not only whether they like it.]

A copyable invitation:
“I’m making [idea] for [person/situation]. Would you be willing to try the first version and tell me where you get stuck? I’m deciding what to change, so specific feedback is more useful than a polite yes.”

## 7. The next decision
- What did someone actually try or use?
- Where did they get confused or stop?
- What did they ask for next?
- What will I keep, change or stop—and why?

## Illustrative example
An artist wants to make illustrated city prints for small apartments. The first version is one illustration at two sizes in a simple room mockup. The next 30 minutes are for sketching three possible compositions. Three willing viewers are asked which size they would choose, where it would go and what makes them hesitate.

This is a planning example, not a customer success story. A few conversations start the learning; they do not establish market demand. A compliment is encouraging, but it is not the same as use or a sale.
